Who Are We? The Keepers

We are a group of perhaps overly-enthusiastic United pilots steeped in tradition, mentored by giants, and excited for the future. We feel the legacy of the United pilot group is way too important to leave to chance. We have chosen to be intentional in looking for opportunities to encourage all of us to live and foster the best parts of our legacy; and to welcome our newest members while teaching them what’s at stake in the legacy we all share.

 

As Keepers of some of the important elements of our legacy, we deem it necessary to not only welcome all our new members, but to bestow on the most unique of them a symbol of their special status to all of us. It is not enough to know who the 8-Ball is, but they must be celebrated and appropriately adorned with all the symbols and accoutrements signifying their simultaneously lowly yet lofty position.

 

Those accoutrements include “The Sacred Orb” we are ultimately the Keepers of.
